Our Youth Minister, DarShayla, lives her life with her eyes off her situations, but with her eyes fixed on the Word of God.  She holds tightly to His hand and persists in all circumstances.  As such, her favorite scripture is James 1:4.

Minister DarShayla S. Price

Minister DarShayla S. Price was born on July 18th in Rock Island, Illinois. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at the age of 5 and was baptized at the age of 6.
 

During her late teenage years, as a Freshman at Bowie State University, DarShayla heard and accepted the call of ministry. She spent many years in training under her mentor and was licensed as a minister in 2013. 
 

DarShayla has a special place in her heart for youth and young adults. She has served as the Minister over various children, youth, and young adult ministries where she inspires, supports, and mentors believers of all ages.  She was installed as the Youth Minister of Springdale Community Church on April 1, 2018.
 

DarShayla attributes her spiritual foundation to her praying grandmother but has grown in spirituality with various spiritual leaders that God has strategically placed in her path, to include her mother, mother-in-love, godmother, and her spiritual mentor.  Through them, God has encouraged and guided her along her spiritual journey.
 

DarShayla is married to her bestie, James, and they have two "cool" kids Bailey Ryan & Jace Vaughn.
